Even if it is passive or defensive it'd be pretty cool.

As for the Lost River, has someone been down there yet? It is quite amazing visually already, I hope they beef up the overall bioluminiscense, too, so we can see most of it even without artificial lights.
I really hope they add that creature, who knows, maybe it could be a creature that spawns below certain depths, not depending on the biome (:
Edit: I don't know why I'm asking for more scary creatures, I can't even face the Reaper... WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?
If it does, I could imagine it would be added once the Lost River is implemented at least a little and the Sea Dragon is ingame.
I can already imagine the noise it would make, some echoing screech, perhaps a sonar.
For now I'm more interested as to what that weird green liquid is that seems to not care that we're underwater.
Some form of alien acid perhaps? I could see acid and lava resistance modules getting into the game at a later point.
I wonder how it will function, if it will be a real fluid or just a different surface type like the lava in the Inactive and Active Lava Zones.
It's based on a real life phenomenon. This website explains it quite well, although being an alien world it might be formed by something else completely.
As for the "Phantom Leviathan" it looks like a fairly neutral creature to me. Unless its mouth is much bigger than it appears (Like the Mesmer) or it spits some kind of corrosive substance, I'm not sure what threat it would pose. It might be the Reefback of the abyss.
Something about its exoskeleton makes me think of the ghost shrimp.

I think it would be way cooler if passive. We need at least a few creatures that do not spend every single moment of their lives trying to kill us.
This thang is gonna be even bigger than the Sea Emperor, fyi!
