<div class="IPBDescription">Watch some playtesting</div>Would it even be possible to watch the playtesting through HLTV.  Im guessing not, but it would be awesome if you guys could make a demo and release it on the forums so we could watch a match or 2.  But i dont know if you have to have the full engine to watch dem files or what...

    Yeah, this wouldn't work unfortunately, you'd need the full build.  However, someone could make a demo, then work with that to create a movie.  Not that easy, but they might be able to do it.

    It would be so awesome if we could just get some footage, Im pretty sure were all dying to see how its going.  If its not too much trouble could you guys get a video in the works?

    well, unless someone could straight record a video from in-game, I found taking demo's and converting them to AVI looked like a 2.4 baud modem trying to play <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> Need some video capture program...Ill go take a look around and if anyone else knows one, that would be great (with sound is a major plus! )

    Here's another solution..Could you make it so you could release a build that ONLY let you join the spectator Team? I.E., you log in, it automatically adds you to spectator?

    The thing is, is that with such a build all the models and weapons and buildings and such would be in there for easy viewing. Notice we've still not seen the models for three of the aliens? They're either not done with them (which I somewhat doubt) or they're keeping them under wraps to release at certain points.

    the whole point in beta testing is playing the game while there are still things wrong in it so the mass does not see them. This way, the mass will see the bugs. But a movie would be cool...

    yeah can we see another video??? like before when it was released on divx.. but this time you can show actual in game action with a bunch of people playing.
