<div class="IPBDescription">Some players are missing it</div> I don't know why, but some people seem to have trouble going through the shell.mdl consistency check (they made a topic) and I found out lately that i am one of those victims <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Although I know there is a topic already, but this is with a new topic name to attract people who want to give... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> I'm missing a shell.mdl, and I suspect so are some of the others. I assume it is the installation file that is messing with this, and if that is the case, then there's really nothing we can do unless we download another client (92Mb of download?)...

I sincerely asks of anyone who would like to upload their shell.mdl (default model of course) and tell us where we should put it and stuff... this problem had gotten me kicked out of my favorite servers... and it's really, really depressing <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

What's wrong with downloading a new client?

I mean, unless you have 56k. Then there's a problem.

but i mean, wouldn't it be easier to download a less than 1Mb model file than to download a 92Mb file?

This is the closest thing I could find to shell.mdl in my ns directory. Hope its what you are looking for

The 1.03 server patch includes a shell.mdl.

Try downloading and installing it. It might help and it's only 2.8 megs.
