so I followed the directions and figured out how to get the map in game as well as some other pics as you can see, the thing is its in the directory \SteamApps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames\slot0070\screenshots and their are over 70 slots one for each game save I ever made I think
and I was wondering if it was going keep making new slots for every new save
I was also wondering why their are 2 buttons for taking screenshot's F11, and F12 why not have one button to save screenshots to the screenshot library and be able to use screenshots from the library

I'm pretty sure they don't mind
find the subnautica directory on your computer then find the directory for your current save for mine is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames\slotXXX\screenshots.
you will have to find the correct slot for your current game save with the last slot made being your current save i.e. every time to delete a game and save new another slot in created, I'm currently on the 70th slot after the last update
once you find the correct directory folder save a copy of this Picture and place it into the screenshot directory of your save
