Yeah, my first post here. And I just had to register to bring up some things I encountered on the PC and XB1 versions.
Now, Im sorry if this is the wrong forum, at least for the X1 ones. But here it goes.
PC I couldnt play much on my laptop so theres not that much to say.
- My computer makes these odd beep like noises, other than that it runs just fine.
they occur not long after starting up in the escape pod.
- Is it my laptop that have heating issues? Due to not so optimized game which will push my system way more than needed? Any tips to avoid this at all?
Yeah, oh and my specs. They are somewhere between minimum and recommended sys.reqs. Kinda old but trustworthy Acer laptop, can run several newer games at respectable performance.
Intel Core i7-4702MQ CPU 2.20 Ghz
8 GB RAM (7,66 usable)
64 bit, x64 based processor
Windows 10
Nvidia GeForce 750M
Xbox One
Now here I have encountered several oddities. Playing on ordinary survival.
- Floating objects above surface.
- Slider doors, creep vines etc
- Even if I have found 3/3 Seamoth and 2/2 Vehicle Bay fragments at 100% the blueprints have not been unlocked.
- Constant slow, laggy framerate, need optimizing.
- A chance that the game just crashes, not rare but not too common either. Saves have not been affected by it in my experience (corrupted)
- Sometimes when using PDA/ Fabricator, my hands disappear and any tabs/ menu are gone except some text which are disorganised. Also have gotten my game frozen because of this after no way to exit them.
Thats all I can remember so far.
The game is great otherwise, lots to do, interesting backstory. Stunning visuals and survival setting. Big water world with roaming sea creatures. Its like water world on steroids
I look forward to more updates and final build for both the versions I play. Im mostly counting on further updates for the XBox One version, since my ol' laptop are kinda tired and funds need to be spent elsewhere than a new computer.
You have done an amazing job so far Unknown Worlds, keep it up and further constructive communication with fanbase can only bring this game to something greater.
