Weather and its effects

I know a ton of people have already talked about it, but I haven't seen any body talk about its effects. Say, the weather is rainy, it could change water height and the currents. It could create whirl pools that might suck everything in towards it, like creepvine. It could start swaying in the direction of the current. Some fish like the peeper could hold their own because of their speed. Or on a sunny day, fish could go lower to prevent severe burns, some might find shelter in caves too. Also, a possible new device that you might build could be a weather station. It could predict the weather so you could know what to expect from the water. Please tell me what you think in the section below!

The problem is that rain won't seriously change the level of the water since most of this planet seems to be water and rain is made out of vaporising water so it is a stedy ultra slight lowering and filling again with rain. But at levels you won't notice. Making ultra strong rain-storms that change the water level would be slightly silly imo.

So rain would have only a cosmetic effect for the water surface and for the sky and lightning of the game which is cool and I'd like to see weather effects someday in this game instead of always sunny.

Storms with powerful winds will create waves or even big waves. The point again is that most of those won't be felt as soon as you are a few meters under water. Submarine captains in WWII for example sometimes gave their crew a break from heavy weather/rough sea by ordering to dive to a low depth and staying there for a few hours. So even hard storms would not be noticed that much underwater. In the shallows it could whirl up sand and plants maybe or move the creepvines in a kelp forest. Anything that is deeper then like 10-15m won't feel huge effects as far as I know.

But since we are on an alien planet maybe they could implement other kind's of weather or weather phenomenons. Adding currents and or current effects in Subnautice in generall would be a cool idea which you could ideally combine with a current power generator or something. ;)
