Bug with the Terraformer?

in Subnautica Bug Reporting
So I collected all the fragments, and it registered in my pda, but I can't find it in my list in my fabricator ;( Am I doing something wrong?

    No, this is normal. Terraforming is going to be removed from the game for reasons of bloating up/endangering save files and getting in the way of gating. While there's still remnants of it, like the fragments, there's measures taken that terraforming can't happen anymore in most versions/modes.

    They should probably update the Steam Store page to remove references to carving/terraforming voxel terrain as being a notable feature of the game, since we won't be able to do that anymore.
