There are both growbed and pots for the interior.
For the exterior there is only a growbed.

It would be nice to have an option of planting exterior flora in a pot as well.

What if there was a special kind of exterior grow pot that could grow mushroom coral trees and other big flora?

Could be a large pot with a column in the center that the coral could grow on.

it would be cool if we could plant directly into the soil

the creepvines as well as a few of the other bioluminescent plants does seem to make a nice streetlight effect or natural outdoor lighting that doesn't consume base power or batteries like the light sticks or floodlights
