How to turn up render distance?

Please help. i cant play the game like this! in the lost river i will just smash into the skeleton because its invisible till i'm 1m away from the damn thing! i can NEVER find the islands easily and i just cant take it! please help me!

    Right now, the only way i know to do that is via the F3 button window ingame sadly as the option window currently lacks alot of essential settings. Theres hope tho, they will be updating the Options window sometime in the future with alot more than what we have currently

    The draw distance on Xbox is also really scary. Driving in the safe shallows and you see a square hole in the ground. That means that the environment hasn't loaded yet and you have to slow the fuck down before you smash into anything in that area.
