scanner room - cannot remove the upgrades

I guess that the upgrade mechanics for the Scanner Room should behave in the same way as in seamoth, cyclops etc, i.e. it should be placeable but also possible to remove when needed? Well, in the Scanner Room I cannot remove the upgrades, which means that

a) once upgraded, I cannot re-profile the room and e.g. convert the range for speed or vice versa

b) I cannot retrieve the upgrades while trying to relocate the scanner room. I get only the basic components when deconstructing the room.

    As far as I can tell the upgrades don't even work yet. I'm having a lot of fun with the camera drones, but they're also the only part of the scanner room that isn't unfinished. Hopefully we'll get some fixes next update.
