Hey... does anyone know if any of the Precursor Bases have been removed? I saw a Youtube video saying that some had been - perhaps temporarily - taken away.

???
Yeah the devs have said that they're temporarily removing them; they'll be back soon
Oh, god, IGP posted this in a video; it's so beautiful! Does anyone know if those rays - blue and crimson - have eggs to find. If we stick two in the large aquarium will they breed?

I wonder why? Perhaps the devs need to adjust things and the precursor bases would get in the way, or clip? Hmm....

Yesterday I finished my base near that tree, walked around in my PRAWN and didn't see any eggs. Its not implemented yet, but I'm on experimental and things changes so fast

Yeah I saw IGP's vid haha, got this screenie a few days ago too.
Sadly, there are no eggs for the rays yet. I say 'yet' because I feel like their eggs will be heavily requested by us Subnauts and I imagine they would add them eventually. As for sticking them in our aquariums, you can't pick them up. So there is no way... *notices propulsion cannon* *HYBRID has left the base*
*distant scream*
*HYBRID has entered the base*
*Face red with a fin/slap mark*
'Turns out they use their fins like we use our hands, she didn't like me trying to pull on her with a propulsion cannon...'
Well that way stupid/silly haha ^
Anyway, moving on:

I'm not sure with that one sorry. I think, from memory, it's to add things in and they were also just previews in a sense. Hopefully someone else can shed some more light on this.
Anyway, the Ghost Rays would have to be some of my new favourite creatures
Will we be able to cure these creatures through the use of enzyme 42?
I'm assuming yes, since I recall reading a trello card that suggested you could drop them and the fauna would swim up and eat it, being cured shortly after.
I'd HOPE that'd also mean they'd stop being aggressive towards you, but I doubt they'd be so grateful.... No stalker friends for me
Or use the Transfuser to inject DNA which will allow them to produce the enzyme and thus immunize them on a genetic level, which they then inherit to their offspring, immunizing all future generations.
Seems like those brine pools in the lost river are acidic...
Like I said in the "Should the brine pools be dangerous?" thread poll a while back, I'm all for more hazards that aren't coming from the local fauna. I wonder if the zone's frigid temperatures will affect you as well or not...

Well, considering they want to add a defence system for hot and cold enviroments for the cyclops, I bet my left leg on it.
Not kidding, look it up on the roadmap under "silent running cyclops tech".
Well, maybe your oxygen goes down faster.

mabe your power goes down faster?
i mean we already have the power efficiency module
The 'Hot and Cold defence System' can be interpreted in two ways because, yes, it can be a defence(?) to hot and cold environments, but, as stated on a Cyclops discussion between the devs (it's a document on Trello: Cyclops evasion), they might add in a sonar for hostile fauna, that beeps slower of faster dependant on whether the creature is cold (far from the vehicle) or hot (close to the vehicle). This ties in with 'Silent Running,' a planned feature for the Cyclops which involves other modes of driving. This mode will entail the Cyclops running silently, but likely at a cost of speed and power. The benefit is that you don't attract as many large fauna - ties in with the hot and cold system.
Anyway, just another perspective

Hahaha, cheers for the laugh. That is all.
My goodness, the horror~
1% of the total population, only.
Actually, the peeper sorta looks like he's wearing christmas lights.

Can the Dragon dip down into the lava like the lava lizard!?!
i don't think so, but it can go through terrain... so yes?
