Reefbacks sort of are turtles what with the armor and all. They're whales, but they're turtles too.

There's concept art for a more turtle-like turtle creature, but it probably won't be implemented. I'm not superfond of the design myself; too much like a turtle; but I love the colors and its bulbous mobile lighthouse look. It'd be perfect for the Sparse Reef.

I would rather have a big evil crab
At times I find the game way to friendly, unless you seek out the dangerous areas.
You're always safe in the Safe Shallows, I want some unexpected events, like a big crab etc crawling up beside your base and heads off, or pinch you in the ass if you're close

I love the turtle idea. Sounds really cool and would add a lot to the game. The possibility of riding on its back to get a hand getting somewhere would be amazing!
