Energy Shields

In my opinion, Subnautica needs more defensive things. I mean weapons. Energy shields would make a great edition to the line of defensive objects. With an energy shield you could defend yourself from incoming threats. Of course it would take up one of the glove/tank spots. It would deploy a barrier that stops any threats coming at you (stalker, crash pod, biter). It could also be made into an upgrade for the seamoth. The upgrade would allow the seamoth to deploy a shield around itself stopping any threat. To nerd this a bit, it would drain the battery a lot.

    What you described is pretty much the Seamoth's Perimeter Defense System.

    I know, but the shield wouldn't expand over time like the electrical defence. It would stay around the seamoth for a few seconds than disappear. Also, I forgot to put this in the post, the energy shield would have a deployable generator to go on your base, allowing for really defended homes.
