Let me just say that this game is beautiful and a blast to play. In fact, I like this game so much that I would love to see it become even better. Here are a couple of ideas I had while playing that I think would improve a player's experience.

- Lockers and other furniture: Deconstructing a locker with items still in it is a real pain. In case you didn't know, this causes every item in the locker to be lost as far as I know. There's no warning or notice to the player that this will happen. However, when you try to deconstruct a room or platform with things still in/on it it stops you saying you have to remove everything first. Perhaps have the same thing happen with lockers? Or, another idea would be to allow the player to move a locker and everything in it without deconstructing and reconstructing it. This could even apply to other fixtures that can be placed freely around a room.

- Platforms: On the note of platforms counting rooms placed on them as a part of them when it comes to removing the platform. I had a platform extending off of a hill that I had a room on. I wanted to remove the platform so I could extend the room downwards, but I couldn't unless I removed the room first, then the platform, then rebuilt the room.

- Scanning Room/Maps: While playing I found that I sorely missed having a map of any kind. Having the scanning room is neat, but at this stage it's uses are rather limited. Using camera drones to explore is nice since you don't have to worry too much about predators or oxygen, just distance and energy. The ability to scan for certain items and then have that displayed on your hud while swimming around is useful, but it feels like the range is always super limited even with upgrades, and that it takes forever for the room to find anything, again, even with upgrades. I don't know what the future plans for the room are, but something that would make the room invaluable to me would be if it actually mapped out the terrain around it. It would generate a map or terrain view of everything within a certain range the same way the seaglide/seamoth do. You would then be able to pull this up on your pda and place or remove markers. This would also incentivize people to build multiple scanner rooms around the entire map in an effort to map it all out.

- Cyclops Upgrades: I think the biggest boon would be a sonar upgrade the same as the seamoth's. Besides that, things like a torpedo system, solar power regeneration or perimeter defense would be good. Another idea would be speed/turn speed upgrades for both the cyclops and seamoth.

- A Clock: Some way of keeping track of the time of day, either as an item that needs to be slotted into your paperdoll like the compass, and thermometer, or as a basic part of your hud/pda the same way depth is.

- Bioreactor: A display on the bioreactor that shows how much potential energy there is from everything you've thrown into it. Maybe with an estimate of how long it will stay powered up before it runs out?

- Larger/More Varied Rooms: Right now, the only room we really have is the multipurpose one. It does it's job very well, but after getting the moonpool, I can't help but want a room as big as that to run around in. Whenever you place a central object such as a reactor or large aquarium in a room, that pretty much means nothing else can go in the room, especially in the case of the aquarium. A room as large as the moonpool could probably fit at least 3 large items in it and still allow ample room to move around in. It would also allow more variety in base building. If the small room is 1x1, the moonpool (medium) sized room could be 1x2, and there could be a large room at 2x2.

- Abandoned PDAs/Data Downloads: Instead of having these as small, scattered items, what if they were stationary and more easily identifiable? At one point in the game there was a pda next to a storage container that was on it's side. in order to get the item in the container after i opened it, I tried blasting it with the repulsion cannon. This caused the item and the pda to fly away. I eventually found it, but for a while I was afraid I had lost the pda forever. If the pdas were instead an immoble fixture like other furniture this would remove that possibility. They could look like computer terminals set into desks or walls operating on emergency low power, and when used allow downloading of data and personal logs to your pda. This would also give a reason for signals to identify their location saying they found an unkown power source or beacon.
