Will be really appreciated for room (or corridor) upgrade like External Storage.
In theory it builds like glass in the room wall, and can be accessed from inside AND outside of the room. By the size it may be the biggest locker in the game, so the cost in materials may be high. But that comfort... Mmm!
You know, it is very bothering to find some scrap metal or quartz or anything then swim to the base, then run thru it, then find empty locker (because you forget where you put the titanium last time) then run again to the gateway, then trying to remember where you seen another pile of resourses 2 minutes ago...
If that be a way to put resources in BIG storage outside the base and when you do 3-5 here-there scavenge expeditions just enter the base and have it - it would be perfect.
And the transport. Yes, it will be nice if the resources from Seamoth autoput in such storage. Construction of Docking Station and submarine itself allow that - there so cute sliding bridges bot sides... Exactli in front of cargo lockers on the Seamoth.
Why? Because in the start we have nothing but hands, but when we built the base and deepwater submarine its expected that the rate of scavenging be higher and more fast.
Any ideas?
