Add a tab in the PDA with a list of all active beacons and signals which can then be ticked on or off, filtering the display of them on the HUD. Pretty straightforward.

Bonus points for adding folders/categories that can be named individually and allow for whole sets of signals to be toggled.

This would not only be more convenient, it would also allow players to create their own system for navigation and mapping in Subnautica.

    I love it. As a side benefit, it also lets you disable hud icons that get in the way

    it could make it so signals are downloaded on the pda and it doesnt take up a hud slot. I think your hud should be connected in a way so theres no limits and you can either have all active or non at all instead of choosing between two or less. in reality a super advanced human race would be able to store a stupendous amount of data in a tablet.
