I am seriously satisfied and pleased with myself on making my way from Deep Grand Reef, through the Inactive Lava Zone corridor and chamber and popping out unexpectedly in the Lost River bone field. A lot of people might already know about all these passage ways but it was super cool for me to do it on my own. I was in my Cyclops nearly the whole time on Survival mode.

the most satisfying thing ive done in subnautica was grouping a large, and i mean VERY large school of biters and demolish them with my seamoth.

I just found my way to the Inactive Lava Zone a couple days ago, too. I went in through the passage under the front of the Aurora, but got totally lost once in the ILZ. I eventually found my way out and yep, popped out into the Lost River. I didn't even know it had been implemented in Stable yet, but here I was staring at a humongous freaking skull! Found my way out into the Blood Kelp.

I even found yesterday where the blood kelp zone borders on the underwater islands, and they actually mix together. There's big chunks of rock with giant floaters attached, all tied together with blood kelp vines! I am continually amazed by the places in this game. I can't wait for them to fully implement the Lost River in stable.

    Cheers,

    J

There is one area in the lost river in experimental where if you are in the right spot a river like thing will appear like in the lost river concept art. when you get to close to it though it will disappear.

I'm going to have to agree that sounds immensely satisfying. Screw those things.
