Fauna, Subnautica Tech, and Convenience

The Sandsharks are still a bit robotic in their swimming, their ai when it comes to eating/chasing its prey and they come a bit too far from the sea floor. They should keep to the ground more because of their nature of ambushing their prey from below them.

The Peepers are pretty fleshed out but their awareness lacks the realness of a fish that's mostly eyeball and it makes them seem blind when they should see better than even the main character.

The floaters don't need much except some more debugging. When they load in and rocks fall from the surface my rp experience gets ruined.

The reaper could use a darker biome. The terror of its size is downplayed by the distance from which he can be seen. It would be a better experience for the player to be able to track the Reaper from it's roar rather than the bright red and gray color scheme it's had since implementation.

I feel the Tech in Subnautica is a little far fetched like the habitat builder makes little sense but since its on alien planet and the character is alone and wouldn't have the ability to craft anything large by hand I'll give it some slack.

The gravisphere is too odd and seems like it wouldn't ever have any use since the propulsion gun and the stasis rifle do about the same in functionality.

The dive reel is still a bit buggy and near useless when it comes to anything but cave exploration.

The bioreactor still doesn't seem to do itself justice. The fact that the size of the creature/plant life doesn't make a huge impact when it should urks me.

The Seaglide is a power whore if you forgive my french. The battery life for it is terrible and makes the Seaglide more of a burden of love than a useful tool.

The Seamoth is good but seeing as how for most people its terrible cause of it's lack of depth capabilities. You can't stack the compensators and it makes the seamoth less of an effective deep sea transport. I've seen that people do not enjoy the bug that also comes with it, the camera and how it moves slightly in the cabin of the submersible when you turn causes some motion sickness and obviously it leads to moving a little too fast and hitting obstacles that you normally wouldn't. I also feel that a speed boost upgrade would be good...but it has repercussions...it drains 15% power from your Power Cell every time you activate the boost.

The Cyclops is by far a lot better than when it was first implemented. It just isn't as reliable as the Seamoth in shallow areas and that is to be expected. The Cyclops and the Seamoth, I feel, have so much more potential...more so the Cyclops and how it could be less squishy than it has become. Speaking of squishy...why do aquatic lifeforms other than a stalker, bone/sand shark, The Reaper, The Sea Emperor and the Sea Dragon deal so much damage when struck by the Seamoth and Cyclops? You'd think a fish that was mostly eyeball or a fish with bladders wouldn't phase the submersibles one bit.

The rebreather has functionality but it would be better if it could hold air in when its present before hand to be used in emergencies like when your below crush depth and are too far from your respective submersible you could activate the rebreather when it's on your toolbar and get like half your oxygen filled up.

The whole sole survivor situation is a bit convenient for the story but it would be a bit more interesting if you could add a co-op function but only after you fix the Aurora.

Apart from that it makes me wonder how the interaction between npcs will occur in game. cutscenes? In game dialogue? Or just comm systems? I would like to get opinions on this.

Another thing is what will your options be? Is there more than one playthrough option? Like can you choose what your future actions in the story are? What repercussions will follow these descisions?

This is a biggie in my discussion.why has the dev deemed even a speargun as being too violent a weapon to be used in his beautiful underwater world? I feel it would be a valid form of protection and would be a good tool for fishing.

Finally I wanted to recap and state that although this game is buggy and not fully fleshed doesn't mean I don't find this game phenomenal.

If you have any answers or potential ideas that my ranting inspired don't hesitate to comment.
