To use the Conduit Builder, Aim at a base piece or generator, Then (Press RMB).
This will cause it to construct a Connector, Acting as a cable attachment point, Where you are looking.
Afterwards it will build the attached cable as you go, Allowing you to connect two separate places with power.
To connect the cable to its destination, Merely repeat the first step (Press RMB) to attach.
[Alternatively, Use a builder to create connectors and the Cable tool to lay cables between them.]

In addition, Aiming at the terrain and pressing (RMB) will create a anchor in the ground and attach the cable to it.
The Anchor can be used as a intermediate for the cables during long stretches or winding terrain, Or simply to keep them organized and pretty.
