Searching for a certain piece of concept art

Hey everyone, I am, as the title says, searching for a certain piece of concept art I remember seeing in some brain-storming documents from around 2014 (I guess) on Trello.
It was a picture of a cancelled creature labeled "Witches hand" or "Devils hand" or something like that. If I remember right it had a small purple body with an unproportional big head from which five finger-like
body parts grew, hence its name. Also, the creature was supposed to have some kind of psychic powers.
Anyone, or maybe even some developer, that knows what I'm talking about? I couldn't find anything on Google or the SubnauticaWiki

The crabsquids are planned to have psychic powers (emp blasts)

I think the warpers are also planned to have physic powers.

Nope, those are not the one I'm searching for, but thanks for trying. You can only find it If you have seen it already, I guess, because Google doesn't help

I know theyre not identical but theyre very much alike! hopefully that never makes it into the game cuz ima be permanently thraumatized from encountering those giving that this squid from the Alien movies always scared me as a child

That is a very interesting document. I have just scanned a bit through the blueprints section and I can see that half of the suggestions the community makes were already considered by the devs a long time ago.

Woa thats some very interesting document there indeed! Its pretty awesome to see all that was thought off at the beginning and what we have right now

Seems like ALOT of stuff got cut even tho theres still time to implement some of those things before December ..... ill keep sifting thru that just for curiosity's prupose

Looks like a relatively early game design document. It's really fun to read those as you can get to see what some of the early visions for a game are and how those ideas have evolved to eventually reach the point that we are at now.

This is the nature of game development. Come up with lots and lots of ideas and eliminate things that are too complicated, unfun, don't work as intended, cost too much to make. etc. Then there's opportunity cost due to limited resources, and so on.

I do think though, that @Rainstorm is right with eh Facehugger look-a-like comparison. They maybe could face copyright problems if they introduce a creature like that.

I wish that the subnautica team could hire a larger amount of people so that they could add even more amazing features. Like weird fish similar to this one or maybe the addition of some other vehicles. One day... one day...
