Hi.. Developer. My solar panel works under the bottom of the cave at the moutain island. Is this a bug. Please let me know before you fix it, or I'll die if it's not working as usual XD. Im not sure which version Im having but I purchased the game few days ago. Also dive reel doesnt work properly.. It passes through walls.

Thats actually an interesting question, in fact.

Technically, inside a cave where sunlight doesnt reach shouldnt be a place where the solar panels can produce power. Of course, in such cave theres bioluminescence emitted by the local flora which is technically light but is this light source able to power solar panels?

Im by no sence versed in the subject. Should the solar panels work in the cave systems since theres no sunlight down there, id say no, but if those very solar panel can be powered by bioluminescence then it souldnt power down at night since those caves are always dark, thus the flora there should produce light 24/7 in the dark, which would make the solar panels powered by bioluminescence way too op imo.

Thats all food for thought

Yeah, solar panels in this game are simply based on depth, not actual light levels.
