Will There Be Something That Leads To Survivors Of The Aurora?

Well... This is just a perspective theory that a survivor is roaming around the sea.... There has to be a PDA that leads right to them.... When playing a message from the communication thingy, it says something about Lifepod 17 and also says that someone is in the direction of south. When i went south, there was nothing, all i found was Floater Island which where the Degasi Survivors stayed for a while.... So, what do you think.... Is there by any chance you can find a survivor.... Is there also by any chance that this survivor is related to the story....

    If you watch and read carefully to the various intercepted communications you will notice a message that basically says you are the last remaining survivor of the Aurora and your being hunted.

    Well, I actually haven't got that message yet, i searched on my PDA, there was none.. Probably cause im on an Old Version...

    Yes, the PDA message is incorrect. It says there is a land mass SOUTH of the Aurora but, if you go to the Aurora, you can see that the floating island is actually due WEST of it.

    Not sure if this in-game misinformation is intentional or a bug.

    Well, since the devs have still stated recently that we will have no NPC's in the game, I would take it that if there is a survivor out there, then you are not going to actually run into him/her. Also, though I think it would be cool if one other person did survive, now with the new Aurora you can find a data download that states that out of the people who made it alive to the planet surface alive as of 8 hour after the crash only you remain.

    this can raise questions on Altera's quality and craftsmanship, I mean seriously only one escape pod makes it intact and remains floating?

    their are escape pods with the so called floatation ring fully inflated but its still on the ocean floor

    Trello has models for slashed Lifepod flotation rings. They're probably replacing all destryoed pods rings with those.
