Okay, so I've been following Subnautica for some time and decided to pick up a copy for Xbox One. Making sure to take note of any major bug that I came across, I played for several hours, and this is what I found.
Bug 1: Sound Looping -
No idea what triggers this bug. Every time and again, there will be a certain sound that will loop until I exit the game and reload my save. The most frequent looping sounds are *the sound your oxygen tank makes when you get air from brain coral* and *shark noises* (even when there are no sharks around. You'll know when you come across this bug because frankly, it starts to drive you insane after a minute or two. I want to say this can happen to any sound, but the two most common for me are the oxygen and sharks. Not game breaking, but annoying.
Bug 2: Sea Life Doesn't Spawn -
This has happened to me on several different saved games. Predators, fish, those flippin whale things, nothing. This is game breaking. Even after trying to reload my save, no dice. Also, I don't know what triggers this. The game starts out with sea life, but once the glitch happens they never return. Also, ore deposits will stop generating when this happens.
Bug 3: (Creative Only) The Game's Physics Engine will 100% disregard the ocean. This has happened the 3 times I tried to load up a brand new creative file. Once you exit your escape pod, you simply fall down to the ocean floor and walk around like the water isn't even there.
Bug 4**: Overall hang ups and glitches. I excuse this because the game is early access. But I'd like to know if it is because the xbox one has limitations or if Subnautica doesn't have an optimized port.
Thanks, Subnautica team. If I notice anything else, I'll be sure to report them. If anyone has some sort of fixes to these bugs, or additional information, please share.
Hopefully us Xbone players get some sweet dev love in the near future.
Cheers,
Speakablegrunt
