Scanner in Scanner Room sort of working!

So at first I thought the scanner wasn't working still. But then I realized if you stand to the right of the list of objects to scan ( standing about a half a step back from the wall seems to help) and look above them they will highlight. Although they can be a little difficult to see which one you have highlighted. But after choosing one I couldn't seem to change them. Do I have to wait for the scan to finish or should I be able to stop current scan and start a different one? One other thing was after finding a highlighted item, like the sandstone, the marker for it from my hud wouldn't disappear.

OK I found a small point on the scanner monitor where it will highlight the x to stop the current scan. It's near the top on the right hand side where their green coloring meets the black. If someone knows how to post an image and can let me know, I can put that on here showing the exact location. Hope this helps.

I've found it too thanks you for posting otherwise I wouldn't even had thought you try there I can now select and cancel a scan with ease uzbeki I found the sweet spots

When I set it to a sandstone or something, the indicator is still there even after you mined the materials.
That normal?

I don't think it is. I get the same issue, I just eventually go and stop to scan and restart it.
