Second base location

Hey, As most of you probably already have multiple bases I'm trying to figure out the best location(s) for them. I have crafted enough materials for 2 more smaller bases that will be 4 rooms (I nuclear, 2 food, 1 general purpose) plus moon room and all the reinforcements to make them strong enough to withstand depths. I was thinking close to Uranite for 1 and in the plains beside mushroom forest for another. Just looking at various distances, abilities to load up on food etc and close to hard to get materials ie uranite usually has diamonds and aluminum oxide etc. Just looking for thoughts from others.

    I always build my first big base somewhere in the kelp forest because I love that scenery and my second big base in the koosh zone. The koosh zone has this unique sounds and looks so magical at night. Just don't build it near the bone sharks because their permanent "ROOAAAWR" kind of destroys the peaceful atmosphere. :p
    I also build a third, very small base near a volcano in the grand reef for battery charging and food. :)
