concept: Abyssal crash biome

nothing much exists out to one side of the aurora, imagine if down lets say 1km, is the abyssal crash biome. Where the creatures are see through and glowy, like crabsquids. i guess feel free to add onto this, i thought it'd be cool to have an abyssal biome with wrecks everywhere.

Why would a large number of wrecks be confined to one spot?

The floor could almost completely be covered by scrap and ruin, and eels and shoals of fish could be swimming through the rubble. An escape pod or several could be down there, broken. Cool idea
