    how far is the map development? half of it? 20%? also try to give at a good story line and make enviroments a "role", like a room being a cafe, another one is toilets, whatever. just try to give a story feel to the map (like in nancy or hera (personnel casiers, hera entrance etc)

    I already have a story, layout, bleh worked out. In fact it amounts to around ninety pages of notes and such. Another fourty to fifty pages of drawings. Drawings were done fairly recently, but the design docs and such were completed before work began in January. Note that Widow has been through four completely different design schemes and such, and the area portrayed now is only a few weeks of work. Well, probably a few days of actual hardcore work but bleh. Everything has a purpose. As for how far its done... Who knows. Lets just say that a lot still needs to be done. Heh.

    Excellent ... keep up the good work.

    This forum is what keeps me motivated and inspired to delve into the world of CSG mapping. I have never picked up WC before, but I have the urge to map for NS because I love the overall ambience. So far I've read many tutorials and have familiarized myself with most aspects of the editor and the various entities, so now I'm going to dive in head first and plan out a map.

    I love the visual style and the architecture in this map, it's so different from what's come before it. It feels "cooler" somehow, less militaristic or industrial (don't get me wrong, I like the austere, semi-military feel of Eclipse and I love the industrial feel of Caged and Nothing... Don't ask me about the other maps, I don't really know.) and more like a very slick spaceship.

    Metallic and cold, yet smooth and supple. The lighting gives off a nice atmosphere, yet with a tinge of creepiness. Absolutely lovely, good work Zazi!

    Looks good. I dunno how feasible this would be, or if it would screw up the feel or not, but what about a slight (i.e. dim) light_environment? I mean, you have some interesting window architecture.
