Will there be an animation for the character taking off his helmet when entering the cyclops or the base? (And putting it on)

Are the precursors got wiped out by the disease and thats why you can't encounter them?

1- dont know but probably not. theyre in the process of coding animations for all of the game's climbing up/down all the ladders of the game right now. Maybe at a later date but i would'nt hold my breath for it.

2- That is indeed what it seems. We still need much more infos on what really happened but thats the prevailing theory so far. Also, it seems the Warpers were created by the precursors to hunt down and capture and/or kill any lifeforms infected with this virus.
