As wonderful as some of the deeper biomes are, they're incredibly difficult for a player to find.
Their depth isn't really a problem. The player needs a reason to upgrade their subs & prawn suit. But unless a player has the persistence to spend hours crawling along the walls and through the caves of the dark, deeper biomes, there's a decent amount of content they'll never find and biomes they'll never discover.
Yes, there are directions to the biomes on the wiki. But it isn't something players should be using as their first source of information about where things are and how things work in Subnautica - particularly given that it's a game focused on exploration & discovery.
Ignoring the differences in depth; it'd be nice if some of the deeper biomes were as find-able as The Grand Reef or even the Blood Kelp Zone. You can easily miss them, but they're not always difficult to find once you've begun looking for them.
