Planting in exterior planter deletes previous plants

When I planted some deep shrooms in the exterior planter outside my base it deleted the creepvines growing there. Afterwards I harvested the deepshrooms and went to replace the creepvines but when I planted the creepvines it deleted my bloodkelp growing in the exterior growbed.

Edit: I will not be putting up a video because I am lazy, I will just make a different growbed
