Possible since a lot of people already know about it, but for those who don't....

The Sea Dragon. It's got a helluva lot of potential ways of showing you the death screen, but some of them seem a little.... Like they won't be used much?

1. Like the Reaper, it will repeatedly ram your cyclops. Currently, the cyclops is relatively immune to traditional forms of damage. Unlike the Seamoth, it doesn't explode when it suffers too much damage - it just gets hull breaches (Correct me if I am wrong). In the future this might not be the case, and particularly I'd like to see that be a feature in Hardcore mode. Hull Breaches are the first stage, exploded Cyclops if you can't repair them is the second stage.

2. Swatting at you with its fins. Apparently, it'll do this if you approach it from the side where it can't reach you with its mouth. I've never actually seen it do this, but it's kind of hard to tell.

3. Approaching it in your seamoth will cause it to grab your sub in its hands and shove you into its mouth, then chewing on your sub for a lot of damage. But the Sea Dragon appears at or around 1,000 meters under the sea, below the limit of the seamoth. So why? I'm assuming it'll do this to the Prawn exosuit as well though.

4. If you're at a distance, it'll 'breathe fire' or spit molten rock at you. I see it do this quite often, especially the latter (it tends to use the breath attacks on random fauna more than on me) so no problems here

5. If you're swimming in the water without manning a vehicle, it can potentially swallow you whole. I've seen it do this only rarely, usually it simply chomps down for a good chunk of damage. I can't see many situations as to why you'd be outside of your submarines/exosuit down here, especially if the temperature of the zone would damage you. Then there's the attack being comparatively rare to the biting and breath attacks.

I'm confused as to why it has an attack specific to your submarine. Unless it'll do the same thing to the Exosuit, I'm not sure why that attack is even there since you're unlikely to see the Dragon in an area where the seamoth can safely travel to anyway. The attack where it devours you seems just a touch redundant given you're similarly unlikely to be down there without a suit, coupled with the apparent rarity of it actually using that attack. Which is a shame since it was actually fun to see it do that.

I also frequently find him completely ignoring me, even when I'm directly in front of him - submarine/suit or not. He'll swim right past or just turn and swim away. This part of the game is still in development so I'll leave it to being an in-progress thing, but it was interesting to note the drop in aggressiveness compared to the savage Sandsharks and suicidaly aggressive Biters.

As a separate note, I actually find this creature fun to be around and to observe. Unlike the Reaper, I'm not particularly afraid of being in the same area as him. Sure, he's pretty darn lethal as well but I actually like the guy ^^
