Rare Secret Creatures in caves (encouraging exploration)

I wrote this yesterday but i wrote on Discussion page by mistake. Just copying my idea here.

I find cave systems of Subnautica simply gorgeous.

But the reality is, players don't actually have any reason to take risk to explore those caves. There are no rare creature or rare chunks.
Sometimes Sea Crown, yes, but nothing more. This means, beauty is the only reason to explore deep caves.

So why not adding some exclusive variations of currently existing creatures and put them randomly into some deep caves? Blue Garryfish, Giant Peeper, Cute/Friendly Baby Leviathans(of all three, hidden from outside) etc.

These will encourage players a lot to dive into caves, while making caves themselves more vivid than just a eye-candy cargo of some static plants.
It would be also great for future steam-achievements.

p.s. we need holefish school! On the first trailer we see holefish school but we've never had it.

I wanna say this is a bad idea, but it really isnt. but, it has its flaws. specifically: a needle in a haystack scenario, but dont you know about the precursor bases. in reality, caves open up an interesting biome or path to another. its sheltered and sometimes are more atmospheric.

The Giant Peeper would scare me s---less. Cute Baby Leviathans on the other hand? (*squee*)

A Lesser Sea Dragon would be awesome... just like Dagon's design: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2291840#Comment_2291840

To a limited degree we already have a reason to go spelunking - caves are the best places to find silver, at least until you've got a PRAWN with drill arm, and the drill resources are freshly added and almost certainly subject to change/balance. Nonetheless, there's plenty of caves that there really are no reasons to enter... yet. For example, in the cliff walls bordering the underwater islands, or the thermal caves in the koosh zone.

I think they could make you need to enter those caves for resources, but only if there was some way of indicating that you needed to go there. Making the scanner room have longer range would be a good start - if you need some rare resource (let's say sulfur, which AFAIK isn't even in-game yet) you could build the room and scan for it, and then you'd be able to see that it's underground in such and such area, so you'd go there and find the cave.

It would also be nice if the dive reel worked properly, so you could explore some of the more labyrinth like caves with a bit more confidence.

You guys must have not explored enough caves. Not every cave opens up path, not every cave is connected with Precursor stories. And only caves which provide so much silver are around Kelp and Shallow. Meanwhile, those large and hidden caves like Mountain caves(as well as mountain island one), Koosh caves, Sea Treader path caves, Sparse Reef caves etc. have so much potential but have in fact nothing special in it, more than eye candy. This needs to be addressed.
