D-Pad controller suddenly backwards and upside down

Everything was fine on Thursday. Then today I had trouble getting my controller to work in Big Picture mode. Finally got it to work and now the D-Pad is messed up just in Subnautica (not messed up in menu or other games). So when I try to go left or right with the d-pad it goes up and down instead. To select tools I have to click the d-pad up or down. Anyone know what might be wrong or a solution?
