Protective Barrier / Fence for Seabees

One thing I've have been noticing in the past few new Subnautica games I've started is that both Sandsharks and Stalkers start invading my initial sea base in the Safe Shallows. They attack my base, Seamoth, and Prawn suit almost relentlessly, causing damage I have to repair. They also attack me as I am leaving/entering my sea base or vehicles. The Current Generators are a little helpful but not effective enough.

So, here is my idea: Protective barriers, like electric fences or forcefields that allow the player, Cyclops, Seamoth, and Prawn suit to pass through unharmed but repels the aggressive fauna. This would also allow you to build in areas where aggressive fauna are without having to worry about your base being damaged when you're away.

Fences are sometimes impractical in a 3-dimensional environment.

I think a better solution would be repulsion turrets that use currents or propulsion-gun effects. Those can be mounted more places.
