Homing Torpedoes.
I shouldn't need to say more. Obviously there would be a balancing act involved.
But if I could lock onto a Reaper Leviathan and see it home in to my target, it would be very satisfying for me. They could be less powerful and/or take up more/less inventory space. But if I could still toggle weapons and use that at an opportune time, hear the lock, and take down a big sea creature with the final shot... that'd be super cool.
