VR mode, Stable vs Experimental?

Hey there, i know VR mode can be enabled in both stable and experimental version, however i was wondering if there was a difference in VR for both version? It might just be a placebo, but when i tried experimental, i felt like it was more immersive and better feel of depth, it it really the case?
