The Phasegate!

I'm not too sure what a phasegate is, but I know the main objective of the crew of the Aurora is supposed to be building one. This means that there must at least be information on how to build a phasegate within the ship, and that there may be parts for a phasegate aboard. Given the state of the ship, phasegate pieces are probably not in perfect condition, but the scanner's job is to stitch together schematics from its constituent design elements (seemingly).

I also know that the developers are going to put in teleporters, unless I read that stuff wrong. It might be cool to have to make a second trip into the Aurora where we previously couldn't go, in order to scan phasegatge fragments for the teleporter room.

Thoughts/corrections/suggestions?

I think a phasegate is just an easy way to get from one side of the galaxy to another, but that's just speculation. It would have been cool if we rebuilt the Aurora phasegate and used it to travel back to Earth, but as it is I don't know what we'd do with it, since we're already building a rocket to get off the planet.
And yes, they are adding teleporters but they are of Precursor make. I think we can still use them. I'm not sure but I hope we can.

I agree. Building the phasegate is too easy. And its probably meant to be used in space. But I'd like to make some blueprints requiring more than one type of object scanned to complete. I also like having another excuse to go back to the Aurora and there's another place for the developers to build within the ship that the player can explore.
