I have a suggestion
The Encyclopedia Room would look similar to the scanner room, would have a console in the center and a screen in front. You can navigate through the console and find entities/creatures that you have scanned and are added to encyclopedia. This would be a more detailed version of the PDA ency showing animations, in depth information and where you can find it. That's basically my idea.
