I like! It looks like it'd be a bit awkward to get around, though. Are there ways to get over it? Maybe a catwalk over it or a tunnel underneath with control panels in it.

that is really nice, its exactly the type of room i would want to hang around in waiting to ambush some lugheads. i especially like the infested lights.

you would likely want a catwalk, marines arent all that mobile without jetpacks, and by having a route above the giant generator thingy you would not restrict the visibility of their movements from the commander.

Additionally, are those two exits the only entrances to this hive room? since they are both within a narrow LOS of someone camped back further in the room, they could be easily covered by a single individual with ranged attacks (im thinking spore clouds)

Gorgeous shots. I really love your distictive colorful yet creepy atmosphere in all your map shots. It's a real shame you lost a lot of your progress. I was really looking forward to your work.

Keep it up though! Great job!

(My mind is a bit worn out right now, so please excuse my lack of any helpful criticism. Just felt the need to comment on your style. )

Yay! Space Ape is back!

Great pics, SA. You really went to the extreme on the infestation. I dig that in a big way - almost reminds me of the atmosphere processor scene in Aliens, where *everything* is covered in a thick secreted resin. More!

Glad to hear you're still working on NS, Space Ape. These shots look great. Here are some suggestions:

- They seem too dark to me. How about a couple spotlights?
- I think it would look better if the infestation didn't cover all the walls, but showed more of the surface underneath. It seems a bit monotonous to see only infestation.

That looks really amazing, very moody. but it currently looks a bit bare on the cieling. Try putting a few pipes up there, with steam coming out (make sure it makes a low hissing noise). You could also try sticking some eggs on the cieling, or something along those lines
