Bug: Air pipe cannot be picked back up build 40062

While building my base today I encounter an unexpected bug, one length of my air pipe segment seems to be bugged and will not let me pick it back up. (It also does not change to make the little air giving end piece when it's the last section on the pipe chain.)
Given I was building my base around 150m below the surface there's about a dozen or so pipe lengths chained behind the bugged one that I also cannot remove now.
Is there any console command etc I can use to delete the bugged pipe? (given it's right in the path of where I intend to build I need it gone, also the 130m of pipe behind it is a pain to drive around)
I'd upload the save file too, but it's around 5 gigs in size so...

After some more experimentation I've found the cause.
If you build a base piece near the pipe when the piece finishes it will delete sections of pipe within a specific radius. (about a 20' zone radius around a multipurpose room.)
This will cause the remaining pipe piece to become bugged and no longer able to be picked back up.
