I'd rather have a new area to explore, since it's called Subnautica and I suppose by new land you mean continent. Sure, it could maybe crash on an island, but I'd rather it crash into the ocean and we discover some hidden metropolis under the waves. Maybe a fallen civilisation, created by people who lived on the planet millennia ago. Stone structures jutting out of the ground, sunken ships. I'd explore it.

Radiation Levels Are Increasing To Impossible Levels. Radiation Suit Advised." And When You Get To The Civilization Its Huge. And In Ruins. And Its A Fallen Robotic Civilization. Millions Of Robots And Drones Lay Dead In The Ruins Of The Rich Clan City. In A Hangar Is The Airship. Inside Is A Few Vehicles And Weapons. Including A Flame Thrower, A Dual Edged Flaming Sword, And A Nuclear Powered Missile And Rocket Launcher.

Yea, that would be awesome! I'd love to see some stone ruins, like those ones off of the coast of Japan! The stone structures of a lost civilisation. We haven't seen enough of this in Subnautica in my opinion, and I know why; it doesn't make sense with the lore, it would just be a nice little touch.

Well... they have said they're not adding weapons any time soon, and neither are they adding any new vehicles in the near future, all I can say is... I'm sorry. If this is what you dream to happen, with these millions of drones on the floor, then you dream, baby, you dream. But as you have expressed your dream, I shall express mine... which has been, albeit slightly, altered by your said dream.

Okay, so we might see these stone structures and all that in my ideal world, but if its weapons your going for I'd love to see some crazy ancient weapons (NOT GUNS OR ANYTHING CRAZY). Take for example Damascus Steel. Some of the sharpest swords on Earth were made from this steel yet no one even knows how to replicate it. Imagine if we found something like that in this place to replace our knife we've been using all game, maybe to spice things up a bit. Variety is the spice of life, after all. And maybe there could be some other ancient inventions that are indigenous to these ruins, but the main focus would be the sword. Like, you know, Destiny's Taken King expansion focused on that fire hammer thing. Kind of like that, except... completely different, I'm sorry, bad comparison.

I wasn't saying your idea was bad, friend *pat pat* it was actually quite cool. I just think technology is a bit run of the mill now in Subnautica, it needs a way to stay fresh. But if they wanted to go with the technological idea, I'm sure yours would be better.

The Precursors are fourth dimensional beings that can pass through other dimensions at will. So I don't think they originated in our puny third dimension.
