A thread where the devs and / or players can tell us how their day is going - a WHIYL thread

Just a dev and / or player chatting thread - a WHIYL (what's happening in your life) thread, for those who feel the want to share with others what's up, and don't want to use our Discord server (why not? :D )

I think this should be a no judgement zone, a place where even if we think someone is nuts for their views (if they should choose to share them), we put that aside and just absorb how others are doing / what they are thinking about, etc and share our own happenings & thoughts.

Feel free to post away in this thread.

Inspired by: this WHIYL thread in Hard Light Productions (the other forum I frequent)

Eh. Maybe should have put this in General Discussion.. :headdesk: and it appears I can't move it now.

I'll start. I'm at work, waiting for the next roll of flooring underlayment to finish laminating. I work 7P - 7A.

Eh, take advantage of them and do your best, hopefully you end up in a better job then. :) School isn't forever, but then you get to have a job and pay bills, which is no fun, but a better paying job makes it much more enjoyable. So hang in there and study hard.

Si amigo. I can kind of hear the TV, but not really. And I just burned a dudes bees and stole stuff from his estate for the Thieve's Guild stuff. So yea. I'd rate this morning 9/10. There isn't enough Trump in England, that's why it's only a 9.
    I'm joking I'm joking I'm joking don't kill me :(

Nothing special going on here. Have subnautica put on hold until the crashes have been patched up. I've done the cache tricks in @0x6A7232 's sig multiple times, but they become increasingly less effective as I expand my game, so I'm setting it aside and simply am waiting patiently.

In the meantime though.... Playing Halo 5, Monster Hunter Stories, and browsing Tumblr / these forums while simultaneously neglecting my kanji reviews because I'm a pro-procrastinator :B

Trying to figure out the notes to this tune:

Cause it's practically the only tune from Subnautica which could sound good on my instrument.

Otherwise, I'm replaying various indie games like Abzû, Unravel and Event [0] which, if you haven't checked out already, I reccomend you do. All three are amazing.

Aaah I loved that track. Doesn't that play in the Kelp Forests now?

I'm dragging my current playthrough of Subnautica with exploration of areas I rarely come (still haven't found a Cyclops-sized entrance to the Lost River. No spoilers plz) and filling up my lockers with their designated resource. Due to the Cyclops glitch, I have only surficially played the previous updates so I want to make this one be a grand adventure again.

Also putting together my Fall Sale buys on GoG. Ittle Dew is a certainty, but I'm still deciding if I want Freedom Planet and Entomorph "now".

Scavenging IndieDB and Gamejolt a bit in hopes of finding another student project like Lumen and Broken Puppet. TIP: these games are free and I very highly recommend them. The good thing about student projects is that the games tend to be short but have much more "filled" game worlds due to having to earn the devs a good grade. They also tend to have an innovative mechanic at the core of the gameplay.

Also working a bit on the TVTropes pages for Subnautica and Mickey Mouse characters and planning work for my wikis. Might go out for groceries later but could let it wait until Tuesday.

I've been trying to figure out the notes to this song for ages. However, since I play a pretty unconventional instrument and know nothing about music theory and properly identifying key signatures and whatnot, it's going slowly

Other than that, I've been trying to finish up my bleeders tests through the haze of work this past week.
