Weird World glitches

I have had a base created and every now and then when I leave and return to the base the random case of where chunks of different biome appears above the base. For instance last week I went to the aurora when I came back a piece of the ship wreck was above the base I'm now waiting for a reaper leviathan to appear now. A crab snake already appeared. The stuff disappears when I log out and log back in.
Anyone else experience this?
