Making the Wrecks/Abandoned Bases/Escape pods More realistic

One of the big things about my latest playthrough of Subnautica is that there are more survivors on the planet with you, as demonstrated by the distress calls giving coordinates for the downed pods. I think the devs should up the realism just a little and include bodies or some kind of evidence of the now deceased crew members of the Aurora. I also feel that the wrecks can be made more realistic in the same way. The same with abandoned bases, though for the bases that were from the other crashed ship you could include graves or skeletal remains.
My point is that there should be a higher realism in the showing of the aftermath of the crash. Unless there is some big secret with the Levithan or Emporer taking the bodies for some reason, I feel that the game suffers a little for it.

Other than that, I recall the devs saying they didn't want the game coming off as 'too scary' or something, which is why the Sea Dragon was more goofy looking, so corpses are unlikely. B-u-u-u-t don't quote me on that since I'm going off memory there ><;
Corpses alone don't make an M-rated game. Take a look at the interior of the Argent Moon level of Halo 5 - skeletal remains strewn about all over, human and alien, and reading about the bioweapon accident that caused it was pretty horrifying. Game's still Teen rated.
From what I remember, it was more about "Game's already kinda scary because of ocean phobias, we don't need to make it any more horrifying"
On the subject of realism though, I kinda wish they'd keep the Nitrogen Narcosis mechanic. It'd be in Survival and Hardcore, with Survival having more mild and tame negative effects so it's not TOO hard on you, but in Hardcore it takes all the nasty onto you. Freedom mode would be devoid of its mechanics.
