Unusual electromagnetic signatures?

About the Koosh Zone message.... It mentions volcanic activity firstly, which is understandable given the volcanic cave systems it has and part of the ILZ Corridors winding underneath it.... But then it also mentions these electromagnetic signatures in the region and to exercise caution when diving. What I've never understood is what these signatures are supposed to represent?

Could it just be the Ampeels wandering around in the area? Is there something more to the Koosh Zone that we aren't seeing? Perhaps there's something not yet implemented that will be found here?


Any thoughts? If it's just the Ampeels then that's mystery solved (And somewhat disappointing) right there then XD But it still seems like there's something more to be found here...

a Precursor Teleporter being implemented later on

but with no source provided; but if it's true that'd definitely do it.

I searched around and found this (I also remember seeing a screenshot of a greybox in the Koosh Zone, but I can't seem to find it.)

Well that would explain the sudden increase in Peeper restlessness then. Something's brewing in the Koosh Zone, and they know it!
