Near unplayable lag followed by a big crash

I had not played in a while and I just started playing again on the Dangerous Creatures update a few days ago. I immediately began experiencing severe lagging. Then my PDA began to always appear grayed out making it very difficult to read, but the functionality was unchanged. Then the whole thing just crashed.
Following the bug reporting instructions on Steam, here is the link to my crash folder and dxdiag and output log files.

ETA: I think I'm actually playing on the Bones update but my main menu still shows the Dangerous Creatures update as the last one. My reefbacks have reefs on them and I've been caught by the mesmer fish and I think those were in the Bones update.
