Lag Issues

I have been having issues with on and off lag spikes that impact the game so much it is impossible to play. I think that it is caused by terrain gen, and it also can't help that I have a cyclops and am building a base in the Mushroom Forests. I believe that my laptop can handle this game fine because I checked the system requirements. I'm also aware lots of other players are having similar issues. If anyone has a fix, please send it this way.

Also I am aware this game is in early access and that things will be changed, but would like this issue gets worked on.

Rainstorm

It is common knowledge by now that this game has alot of performance issue that needs to be addressed before the full game releases. Players with high end PCs report they have sometimes intense perf issue and players with mid/low end PCs reports severe perf issue up to sometimes the game being unplayable.

There is however some things that can be tried to make this bearable until they finally decide to tackle this problem more seriously. First off, you can try to play a bit with the ingame settings that this game offers by pressing the F1 - F3 keys, you'll then be offered several setting options that you need to reset everytime you start up the game tho (like removing godrays, ambiant particles to help improve framerates).

Another thing you can try is THIS. Its not an ideal fix tho but it sometimes works for some players.

I myself doesnt have a very good PC/GPU so these things helped me alot in terms of performance. Hopefully they help you as well.
