I'm not sure if there are any Easter Eggs in this game. Which sucks, I love Easter Eggs! They're so cool, and they're one of my favourite things about games! Just a few little things, like maybe on the top of a reefback there's a clownfish and palette surgeonfish swimming around. Or maybe there's just a statue at the bottom of the world somewhere. I dunno, just anything really, fun little nods to other games or something.
Or maybe there are Easter Eggs, but we just haven't found them yet...
Sorry, had to get there before @Kouji_San

I know one.If you enter to seamoth, and imidiatly leave him repeat it couple of times(you must be fast enought). When do you did it,seamoth AI should say ,,I love when you come inside me,,
That would NOT be an "Easter Egg" in any way shape or form.
That would be a somewhat hidden reference to a bodily function enjoyed the world over, and most likely totally inappropriate for a game actively seeking something less than a "Mature" game rating.
This is a easter egg to NS2, another game UWE made.
It could potentially be "special" in some way, just a skin change potentially.
Or maybe this guy, I would just laugh seeing this guy swimming along.
I would love that. @BENSKI, that was some amazing art.
Oh, I got the Portal 2 one straight away, first time I saw that message One of my favourite games ever, alongside Subnautica and Skyrim.
But I've never played NS2 so I didn't see a lot of these Easter Eggs. Thanks guys!
I've just done a lot of resarch that I had to share. After discovering about various easter eggs (in my browsing) from Fez, GTAV, The Binding of Isaac, Battlefield 4... I came across one in Trials Evolution which is mad. There's just no other word to describe this easter egg.
If you don't know about the trials riddle, here are the links cause I've already spent too much time explaining on other different communities. The first part seems like it was the end of the riddle as it just gave a secret song. But apparantly it wasn't. People started looking deeper by using spectral analysis (I'm not kidding!) which led them to another riddle on a website. Then, when that riddle was solved, sh*t started to go crazy. 4 real life coordinates were revealed, and at each of these was a box, each containing a key and a message saying that in the year 2113, under the Eiffel tower, 1 of 5 keys will unlock whatever will be there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is crazy, amirite?
I guess what I'm trying to say is... devs... please don't do something similar! I don't want to become the most paranoid person on the planet XD
I'm actually a big fan of incredibly spooky / hard - to - decipher easter eggs (hence why Ready Player One is my favorite book. I would enjoy seeing a small statue of a precursor or something in an inaccessible cave near the bottom of the map.

before we get to Easter?
