Illumination: using the flora as lanters

If any of you are like me, you like to light up an area that you explore. If because it's too dark or so you can keep track of where you been, you want light. Subnautica is BEAUTIFUL at night with everything that comes to life with light! For me I really enjoyed the masses in the grand reef that light up. I thought what if you could build pots outside your base and grow one yourself to light up an area! Or better yet, a flora powered flashlight! Hold one of these luminescent masses and no matter where you are, you have light following you.
Or we could put them in bases too!
Any more ideas that go with this?

Yeah you can already do this with Creepvine Seeds
Not sure which others work.

Though we do need to be able to place Plant Pots outside.

Yup.
I suggested this before (though I probably wasn't the first), and will agree with 04Leonhardt now... exterior plant pots would be GREAT!

Yeah but I don't like the fact you have to have this huge exterior frowned for a creepvine of all you want it for is illumination

it would be nice to place plant pots outside or beable to plant directly into the soil outside
