Subtitles? (Minor possible spoilers)

Two things that came to mind during my current game. One, is to have an option to enable/disable subtitles when messages are playing. There's a few situations where subtitles do (or do not) come up:
The first is the Sunbeam Messages, the second is the Aurora Blackbox terminal, and then there's the various Comms Relay mesages. With the exception of the Aurora terminal, all of these have (mandatory) subtitles. The Aurora terminal has none at all.
I like having subtitles for when I have to have the audio down low or even muted, or if I just miss something that's said for some reason. However, at times I also feel like having them off since ocassionally they just get in the way on the screen like when taking screenshots.
So the possibility of having an option to enable or disable them would be nice.
